I just released 1.1.0 yesterday, it adds:
- syslog support;
- packaging for Debian/Ubuntu/Raspbian/OpenWRT;
- better support for old-school init system with the
--pidfile
option: here is a LSB init script for lightsd.
Checkout the updated installation instructions and the full changelog at The lights daemon documentation — lightsd 1.1.2 documentation.
Next, I’ll be working on 1.2.0 with:
- transition support for power{On,Off,Toggle} (GH-5);
- performance/reliability improvements by limiting broadcast traffic.
With an expected release date around the very end of the year.
Any question or remark, let me know!
